Outcomes
Six weeks after the launch of the project 65 inmates had signed up to the scheme. The Jigsaw piece has become a point of referral for the Minerva Project with both inmates and staff recognising the logo and the project as a means of improving a persons future prospects.
Helping inmates to not re-offend will have a significant impact on the local community, giving hope to newly released prisoners and their families alike, not to mention the huge sums of monies likely to be saved by the authorities as prisoner numbers are reduced.
